About

The Patrick’s Putts & Pans golf outing is bringing our community together for a fundraiser benefiting the Patrick Concannon Young Chefs’ Scholarship Fund.

Patrick Concannon, one of the founders of Ottimo’s and Mamma Maria’s located in Orland Park, was so special to so many who visited his restaurants. Whether it was at the corner of the bar, on a practice tee, 1st tee, in a locker room, on the ice, or in his own kitchen, Patrick was a man who was loved by so many, always with a smile, strong embrace, an engaging handshake, great stories about life, and most importantly, care more about how you were doing than himself. As a young man who had to forge his own life, he did it on his own when he left for Hawaii at the age of 18 where he lived day-to-day, paycheck to paycheck, and built an amazing career filled with incredible experience and adventure. And, by the grace of God, met his love – Stephanie and soon partnered and nurtured his loving daughters, Alyssa and Lexi. Always a loyalist to family, friends and his employees, Patrick’s care, concern, and love was deep in everything he did.

To honor this great, great man, The Patrick Concannon Young Chefs’ Scholarship Fund (PCYCSF) has been created to help ensure young culinary students with the same passion and worth ethic can finish school. Unfortunately, there are students who have to leave culinary school because they simply run out of money. Anyone who knows Patrick knows that he would be bothered by this unfortunate event of a student having to leave their passion because they couldn’t afford it. Working with both culinary schools and Joliet Junior College and Moraine Valley Community College, proceeds from the PCYCSF will allow culinary students in need to pursue their passion in the same spirit and vigor as that of Patrick.

On Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at Silver Lake Country Club in Orland Park, the PCYCSF is hosting a golf outing and fundraiser to raise as much money as possible to allow students to continue to pursue their culinary dreams. We are accepting donations of any type (monetary, auction items, gift cards, sports memorabilia, etc.) where all proceeds will be provided to foundations at both institutions that provide financial support to allow these students to finish school and begin their culinary dreams. Please do what you can to allow us to change the lives of these students in the spirit of our beloved Patrick.

An overhead photographic view of a miniature golf green arranged on a large wooden table, where small stainless-steel pans and colorful silicone baking molds serve as quirky obstacles for white golf balls. A bright yellow flag marked with a simple “JJC” logo stands at the final hole, framed by measuring cups like a tiny gallery. Soft, even daylight from a nearby window washes over the scene, creating gentle highlights on the metal and subtle shadows between objects. The composition uses the rule of thirds, with the hole placed off-center and plenty of negative space for potential text overlay. The atmosphere feels energetic and creative, perfectly capturing a playful charity golf fundraiser theme without any human presence.

A playful still life of a bright lime-green golf putter leaning against a shiny stainless-steel saucepan, both centered on a neatly trimmed patch of vivid green artificial turf. Around them, a few pristine white golf balls nestle among scattered measuring spoons and a whisk, hinting at a whimsical “putts and pans” fundraiser theme. Soft, diffused daylight from the side creates gentle reflections on the metal surfaces and subtle shadows on the turf. Photographed at eye level with a shallow depth of field, the background fades into a soft bokeh of neutral tones. The mood is fun, inviting, and slightly cheeky, with clean photographic realism and vibrant color that suits a playful nonprofit golf fundraiser for JJC.

A close-up, photographic shot of a glossy, deep-green golf ball resting on the lip of a polished chrome hole cut into a circular brushed-steel pan, as if the pan were the putting cup. The pan sits on a vibrant patch of synthetic turf stretched over a rustic wooden surface, with a few scattered tees and a small handwritten “Fundraiser for JJC” sign propped in the background, softly out of focus. Warm afternoon light streams in from the left, highlighting the dimples on the ball and the subtle scratches in the metal. Captured from a very low angle with shallow depth of field, the scene feels suspenseful yet playful, emphasizing the moment before a winning putt at a charity event.

A wide, photographic scene of a whimsical, empty mini-golf course designed entirely from kitchen cookware and utensils laid out across a long buffet-style table. Upside-down copper pots form tunnels, baking sheets act as ramps, and colanders stand like quirky towers, all set atop strips of bright green turf. Small signs featuring “JJC Fundraiser” slogans are placed beside each imaginative hole. Overhead string lights cast a warm, festive glow, creating soft highlights on the metallic surfaces and cozy shadows on the tablecloth. Shot from a slightly elevated angle with sharp focus throughout, the composition feels dynamic and lively, conveying a playful nonprofit event that combines golf and cooking themes in a creative, photo-realistic style.
